The registered yachts are listed according to their classes. We have listed only those classes of which boats known to us still do exist. Please make also use of the possibility to search for the country of registration, the ship's name, the designer, the shipyard and the year of construction. |

Our general yacht register is based on the published yacht register of the German sailing association from 1908 to 1938 and from 1949 to 1970 (databases) as well as on the register of still existing classic yachts and on the data of "Yacht" - magazine (the years of 1904 to 1921, 1926, 1936, 1937, and 1939 so far). For each yacht there is a record in the database containing technical information and information about the history of the yacht. It combines the different registers if possible. These are high expectations, and it will take the yachting archive a while to fulfil them. Much remains to be done like the digitalisation and integration of Lloyd's yacht register and the yacht lists of the Kaiserlicher Yachtclub into the general yacht register. |
